defrostMusic is an artist-owned boutique music production house specializing in sound design, composition, scoring, and remixing for labels, commercials, television, and film. defrostMusic has collaborated with the likes of Al Jarreau, Joe Cocker, George Benson, Larry Carlton, Bob James, and Patti Austin, and has worked on over fifty major label U.S. releases including Warner Brothers, Universal, Sony, Narada, EMI, and Concord.
defrostMusic is owned by Dragan Capor (DC), a musician / remixer / producer based in Los Angeles. DC won a Grammy for Digital Editing on Norman Brown's "Just Chillin,” which won Best Pop Instrumental Album in 2002. DC's song "The Rhythm Method" was voted Song of the Year in the Contemporary Jazz Category in 2007. "Here We Go" — which DC co-wrote with Peter White — was ASCAP's Song of the Year 2012. As a remixer, he did a variety of remixes from Natalie Cole to NIN to St. Vincent.
DC studied audio engineering at the SAE School in London, UK. As a live musician, he has performed over 3,000 shows all over Western Europe and the U.S.
